23 August (1939/1944/1948/1989), din nou 22 Decembrie, 21 de ani, (re)nastrerea unui ratiuni, 20 de ani sigilati, regasirea unui natiuni, festivitati pagane, numerologie istorica, reinterpretare manifest, țară româneasca fara țară, ilegal, popor fara tractor, avem sclavi, arta di lupta la români, Simion Cernica are un steag, descantare la cald de istorie personala, si altele nealinieri.

December 22nd, 1989 is the "official" anticommunist Revolution date. It could also be known as the date the “Revolution was stolen” from the people (after the bloodiest December 21st) in Romania's history.
On August 23rd, 1944 the King of Romania led a coup that opened the way for the Romanian Army to “turn guns against Germany”. This day and event was later “stolen” by the ruling communist party propaganda and became Romania’s Nation Day. That was changed only after the 1989 Revolution.
During communist times, every year on August 23rd we had mandatory celebrations with huge parades & gatherings on the main streets and in stadiums.
So today we decide to celebrate the old 23rd of August on ... the 22nd of August, and try to create this new Date-Event That Never Happened, reflecting upon and acting against the twisted political lies we have had to endure after any major historical event has happened. We are all witnesses to the distortion of our history that has been transformed through propaganda and lies into more political capital.
